He's a 6-4, 180-pound senior at Putnam City this year who went unsigned in the early period.

He averaged 17.5 points per game last year as a combo guard and a recent Oklahoman said he's going to concentrate on playing more point guard this year.

Here's a clip from from that article, which was published in June.....

"Several schools have already extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-4 guard as he prepares for his senior season with the Pirates. His offer list is topped by Oklahoma State and Wichita State, with Oklahoma strongly recruiting him, though their scholarship situation for the 2011 class is uncertain."

I would love to see this kid get an offer if one is available, which there obviously will be since we tried to sign Boatright and the other prep point guard that committed to Kansas.

Here's some video from his sophomore year....

And then there's this....

Carl Henry! That's why this kid's stock fell. No love lost between Raney and the Carl is what I heard. Raney chose not to play for Athletes First and opted to play for the Dallas Mustangs which fell through since they're loyal to Dallas kids. He played for Team Texas who was down this summer. If he would have played for AF, he would have gotten a major offer. Wilson kid from Muskogee, Drew Wilson, Nino, and Juwan Parker all quit AF this summer with Stevie and Richardson not very fond of Carl.

I saw Raney play his freshman and sophomore seasons, and he impressed the heck out of me. Judging by this video, he's even more impressive now.

I'd hate to see a kid of his caliber end up in Stillwater, Tulsa or go out of state somewhere, while we find ourselves wishing he was a Sooner. Coach Capel and his staff need to put a full court press on this kid and sign him to the dotted line. Dominique is a player!

He won't go to Stillwater. Got offered as a Sophomore and it's now off the table. He's holding out for a high major reaching for him in the spring.

Smart play by the kid. I bet he gets some really good offers late.

He likes the East coast is what I hear. I also here he likes OU coaches as well. If OU strikes out on their pgs, they may go after him.

Can we make a trade!? lol....I will trade you hardick or blair for sure.
