We are playing Missouri at the absolute best time. They put so much effort into their win over Kansas last night, and are almost certainly going to start out slow tomorrow night. Kansas would have won last night if they had gone to Robinson more late in the game, so as long as our gameplan revolves around Osby and Fitzgerald, I see no reason why we cannot hang with these guys and pull the upset at home. I'll see y'all at center court of the LNC in about 23 hours.

OU 73
Missouri 71

This is a game we have to win at this point. I just don't think we have the guards to make it happen.

Missouri 71-60

Ok, fine.

You won't lose by 38 this time. You also won't be outrebounded by 18, and you probably won't shoot 33% from the field again. (I'd also be surprised if you're able to limit your turnovers to just 8 this time around)

I'll go with 81-62. That ok with you, billy?

I tend to think this game has the potential to get out of hand. OU should win the in paint but OU just doesn't have the backcourt players to match Missouri.

Regardless of whom you think will win the game, I say it's unAmerican (unOklahoman?) for an OU fan to pick against the Sooners on an OU message board.

So, I'll stand by my policy and predict: OU 72, Missouri 68.

Go Sooners! :OU-logo:

Call me crazy, but I think too many things point in our direction for this one. MU has to have a hangover from KU and since they beat us by 40 they will take us lightlly this time, which is only human nature. We HAVE to get a win at home at this point. This game will be nothing like the ISU game because we won't be double-teaming and leaving guys open all game. MU has an edge at the guard spot in quickness, but they dont have a big edge inside like a Kansas does. They had not business beating us by 40 before, they just got on a roll at home. That won't happen tonight. I believe our guys have pride. Grooms not being able to shoot is a huge weakness for our halfcourt offense, but Missou doesn't really let you play halfcourt offense so he won't hurt as us much tonight.

Upset time

OU 79
MU 75

Ratliffe may go off on you if he's left in one on one situations in the post.

I'm following your lead.

OU-65
MU-62

Classy Mizzou fans.

I remember the day after that game, I was at the local Dicks Sporting Goods wearing one of my many OU shirts. Some dude in the shoe department just had to mention the game from the night before like it was the greatest win in MU program history. I guess that's because you losers have become accustomed to getting your asses handed to you by every OU coach not named Capel.

Your fanbase is a piece of work, that's for sure. You would think they would remember the Ricky Clemons jailhouse saga, the eye of the tiger speech by Quin Snyder, the Paige Kroenky cheating scandal that when revealed caused the University to change the name of Paige Arena, Pinkel and his DWI, hiring Haith only to find out he was paying players to play at Miami, etc. Need I go on about your crappy athletic department?

Booger: Is that why every sporting goods store in Kansas and/or Missouri is a Dick's sporting goods? :ez-laugh:

some actual numbers...

Norm vs. OU in the 70s: 13-11
Norm vs. OU in the 80s: 12-14
Norm vs. OU in the 90s: 10-10

MU vs. OU in the 2000s: 6-7 (4-6 for Quin, 2-1 for Anderson)

MU vs. OU in the 2010s: 2-0 (Anderson 3-1 overall, Haith 1-0 so far)

Looks to me like there's been an equal amount of ass handing going on between the two teams.

I remember all of those things (it's Paige Laurie, though; the Kroenke family has never been an embarrassment). I don't see why they're important today, though. Odd that you'd want to bring that stuff up out of nowhere in the same thread you want to call me unclassy simply for pointing out the score from our first meeting this year.

What's the overall record between the teams?

Mustard 82 OU 71

112-96 in OU's favor.

That's a 17 game edge pre-1970.
