OSU's best post player from last year, Kamari Murphy, was just granted his release this morning. Another OSU thread I know, but I figured it was fairly substantial news.
 
They had a chance to be good...that just went out the window. Now Nash will be playing the 4 again. If I was Nash, I would bolt. Even if he had to sit out a year, He would benefit from playing the 3 somewhere and being on a winning team.
 
Nash is NOT a 3, nor will he ever be a 3. He is an undersized PF. He doesn't shoot near well enough to be a 3 and isn't quite quick enough to guard outside. That's why I feel he will not make an NBA roster. You don't see too many 6'7 PFs in the NBA. He would get abused in the post at the next level.

nash is a college 4 .. he can't shoot ..
 
I wouldn't say that you HAVE to be able to hit 3s to be a 3 in college. His range is certainly limited but the little I have watched him, he can shoot some.

This! Although he wishes he was 6'7". He has the game of a 4 and the body of a wing. And he still is a punk. He fits perfectly with Travis.

I don't care what he shoots from beyond the Arc. The guy is not a post player. Williams is not a post player. Muonelo was not a post player. Franklin was not a post player.

ford hates post players... i remember being jealous like it was just the other day of ibrihima thomas's potential his first year at osu and then wham... ford ran him off.. just not 5'8ish enough ha
 
It has taken a little longer than I thought it would but the complete disintegration of that school's basketball program is in full effect. Signing a guy like the 5 star kid that just left might have put it off a season or 2 but, as I think of it, he might have also helped pull it down. My sympathies to the solid fans of that school who post here (Jeff and Dig) but to the rest of you Aggie punks...enjoy the ride...

Muonelo and Williams caught the ball on the wing to score, Nash catches his on the block or high post. They tried to play him at the 3 and he played poorly, moved him to the post and he has played pretty well.
