Good effort, just missed too many shots. Reavers shot at the was a good shot. There may have been better shots perhaps but things can wrong on every pass and Austin had a good look, so I think most coaches would have wanted him to take that shot. Lon did and has said so. Lon coached a good game and his management at the end was terrific.

My wish list — Austin is either sit down or swears to play as if fouls aren’t called in the games. Kk needs to play about twice the minutes and I don’t know who I would sit.

Reaves is one of those....

Damn dude WTH are you thinking? One minute....then...
Damn dude that was sweet....the next...

Lol... he’s a head scratcher for sure.

Interesting wish list. Our 2 best players this season have been Doolittle and Manek. They have to be on the court as much as possible to have any hope of decent post play. Kur is not a good one-on-one defender..... he does drop off and help on blocking shots. Offensively he’s a dunker .... but doesn’t seem to have good hands. He does hustle though. If you have all 3 of them on the court at the same time then Doolittle has to go out on the floor and guard a wing away from the basket.

The only 2 players that can create their own shot are Reaves and Williams.... and Doolittle if he gets the right matchup. I keep thinking Williams is on the cusp of breaking out. I may be in the minority but I’m higher on Reaves than most fans. Also, Harmon has shown a ton of improvement the past few games.

I’m OK with our starting 5 with Williams and Kur being the top reserves off the bench. Victor and Hill are still getting acclimated and will be much improved next year. I like ‘em both. I think the team is playing much better than they did 2-3 weeks ago, so I’m encouraged.

My wish list is that we don't get killed on the glass every game. Maybe try Kuath, Manek and Doo with 2 guards. Williams has the most upside out of everyone on the bench right now. Play him 12-20 mins a game every game.

Can't. We hemorrhage points when he's on the floor. He's not ready for that kind of responsibility.

I like what Williams brings to the game when he plays under control. But, he may never be ready if he continues to make the same mistakes; namely, fouling three point shooters and turning the ball over when he leaves his feet with no chance of a positive outcome.

I have roasted them in public as recently as last week. However, it seems they have played pretty well and at least better the last two games. That's just my opinion tho.

I'm thinking option A about 75% of the time and option B about 25%.

Every time I see Reaves play I think of the movie Glory Road and the part where Haskins is trying to get his point guard to just play fundamental basketball and quit being a showboat.

My biggest complaint against Reaves and the one that is driving me bonkers is his unwillingness to just play basketball and quit trying to draw fouls when he is shooting. Focus on the back iron, disregard and play through contact, and put your whole being into making the shot. I really like the kid, and think he is talented. But, I would like to see him focus on playing winning basketball and not being so concerned about demonstrating his talent.

This. Reaves is constantly trying to get the glory shot, like the long-distance 3, or the incredible leaning or fancy layup. Just shoot the basketball.

Even on the three to end the game, he was fading trying to draw the foul. I think if he goes up square to the rim, like he was positioned when he received the pass, he makes it or gets fouled.
