The organizers of today's event did OU proud. One would have to search long and hard to find many negatiives, that's for sure. The only thing I can think of is the quality of the sound when the announcer introduced the players. I don't know if the sound system is due an upgrade or Toby needs to slow down a little? All I know is that it was difficult at times to understand the names when the teams were announced.

Needless to say, most of the players in today's game have changed since they wore the C&C on for real. Time and some really good food has a way of doing that to aging athletes. lol A few can still play, though. Bryatt Vann, Brent Price, Hollis, Nate Erdmann, Michael Neal and LL come immediately to mind. There were others, I just can't think of their names right now.

I was very impressed with the players on this year's roster. They were all polite, friendly and genuinely pleased that fans showed up to the support the team. The guys who really stood out to me were Romero Osby, Casy Arent, Carl Blair, Cam Clark, Tyler Neal and Andrew Fitzgerald. Judging by what I observed in the way they handled themselves and intereacted with fans, Coach Kruger will have his pick of quality candidates for team captains this season. I was also impressed with the tall kid with #22 on his jersey. Anyone know his name?

All in all this was a terrific day for OU basketball fans! I'm already looking forward to next year's Legends' game!!! Our grandson and his buddy are, too.

Did the guy doing play by play have a spotter? He did an excellent job of recognizing the players on the court without names and numbers.

I agree that the sound needs to be fixed. It was difficult to hear some key parts of the 2002 video, as well.
I am glad we had an announcer who knew what was going on. There were MANY players I did not recognize. I still think of Quannas White as being a bit wirey. Definitely needed help recognized Choo Kennedy, also.

Amath M'Baye? That's my only guess.

Thanks. I forgot about M'Baye. The kid I saw had an athletic body and good size, I'd say at least 6' 9". Very nice young man, too. Too bad he won't be eligible to play this season.

Amath is likely to end up like Osby when it comes to hype.

I hope so. Romeo is more impressive in person than on video or in photos. He's an imposing physical specimen as well as a polite, articulate, very likable young man. I'll be shocked if he is not the player the entire team looks to for leadership this season.

The one thing M'Baye has over Osby, in the hype department, is that M'Bathe has put up some pretty impressive numbers over the course of a full season. That is something that Osby has yet to do. Hopefully he does that this year though.

Very true on M'Baye. The guy DID put up good numbers during his time at Wyoming.
