And....now you've lost all credibility. This has nothing to do with "common sense" and to pretend that the people arguing with you don't have any, is ridiculous. You are right, some people don't know the facts of the case. Those people include everyone who was not in that room that night.
When you find yourself in a hole, your first order of business should be to stop digging.

My common sense comment wasn't referring to people discussing the facts of the case. It was regarding my comment about "saying no doesn't mean it was rape".
We all might as well quit talking about this case.
Some people think it's fine to call Kobe a rapist. I don't agree with that. I know you don't either. Some do.

Just stop, Cheno. Please. You were not taken out of context. No one was claiming it's rape if a woman says no and then no more sexual intercourse takes place. It cannot plausibly be argued that we all should have known that's what you were trying to say.

And on the flip side you can't plausibly think I meant the way it read.
Yet, I was asked what I meant just the attacks came a flying.
Just stop, Tony. The street goes both ways.
Again, obviously you feel differently about the case. That's fine.
Let's just not discuss it.

Excuse me? In response to this...

"None of that matters if she said no. Only two people know what happened. And neither of them is Cheno."

you wrote this...

"I don't know. None of us do. So why are we even talking about it?
And just because someone says no doesn't make it rape."

What other way would one interpret it? I wasn't the only one. Are we all so blinded by our hatred of Cheno that we just misread things purposefully, or is it a possibility you expressed yourself exceptionally poorly?

You say you did not mean it in that manner, and I take you at your word, but I find it absurd that you think people are foolishly misreading what you wrote.

Again, obviously you feel differently about the case.

I most certainly do not. I genuinely have zero idea what happened. The only thing I have said in this thread about the Kobe Bryan rape accusation is that he was not acquitted, and that he issued a statement saying he acknowledges the woman felt their rendezvous was not consensual. That is it. Period. You have not seen me speculating either way or pontificating on the case in any manner. Because when I say I have no idea what happened, I mean I have no idea what happened.
