Couple of guys to follow from this years draft.....
Goga Bitadze (6'11'' 255) - From the Republic of Georgia... he appears to be the next guy in line to make a Nikola Jokic, Nikola Vucevic, and Jusuf Nurkic type impact. Double/double machine, lots of skill, can bang in the paint, etc. Many acknowledged that he was the best big guy in the draft, and think he can have a career like the previously mentioned guys... and the Pacers got him all the way at 18.
Bol Bol (7'2'' 210) - Many thought he would go in the lottery, and the Nuggets got him at #44... Averaged 22/10 for Oregon, but was lost for the season with injury. If he had played his entire freshman season he is likely a top 5 pick, and to get him in the middle of the second round could turn into a major steal for the Nuggets. In 9 games this guy was already 13-25 (52%) from 3, and already had 24 blocks... He was on pace for a ridiculous freshman season. The Nuggets will be in no hurry with him, but man if they can pair Bol with Jokic in a year or two, watch out.
Shaq said he would have taken Bol over Zion... That sounds absurd, but if he played all year he would have been well known.
