Not a big fan of this.
Having it only apply to men's basketball seems odd, and it further complicates an already intricate system. Why should it be ok for a coach in one sport to get unlimited calls and another sport not?
I'm also wondering how much thought they gave to kids who don't have unlimited calls or texts. I imagine the number of teens affected by this decreases all the time, but there's still the potential here for college coaches to end up costing kids a lot of money in text fees (and if a kid can't afford unlimited texts, those fees are even worse).
Finally... if I'm a recruit, I don't want to have coaches talking to me
constantly. These are 16 year old kids. They need some breathing room.
