NCAA Coaching changes

boy it was looking like a quiet time on the coaching front than Lon retires and Shaka leaves for Marquette now the domino effect is about to occur....

This sucks. I was hoping Shaka would stay at texas forever.

After April 1, Chris beard buyout drops to $4 million. I expect him to be the next texas coach. It’s a no brainer really. I just hope he fails, as I hope all texas coaches fail.

So to be clear UT never fired him, he just pursued the Marquette gig?

You can win at Marquette..not saying this guy will but Marquette has strong history in BB

remember the days of following flight tracker when coaching searches were happening. Like crazy stalkers we would tack those planes, and now with zoom and other technologies I wonder how much of that will change now...

Is it really worse? Would coaches see it as a 'basketball school'?

It's definitely not a football school, but you certainly have a point. It seems at Texas that both football and basketball are coming up short and that likely makes the seat even hotter for each of their coaches as unmet expectations on the gridiron seeps into the basketball side of things.

South Carolina prolly gonna open.

I’ll say Altman to Texas. Maybe beard....

Maybe boyton to South Carolina?
