Screw job by refs for calling double T on Konate and Spillman. They should have let that go.

Too hard to beat Villanova when they can't miss. Feels like our loss to them except we also missed everything.

KU is going to have an easy stroll to the title without having to play anyone in the top 25.

Huh?? Did Nova, Tech, Purdue, and Duke all drop out of the poll? Unless they were given the title after tonight's game, they'll absolutely have to earn it. Only break they could get is if Syracuse wins tonight.

2 Big 12 teams in the elite 8 so far and Tech's leading Purdue.

Great win by Texas Tech! I am not sure the last time the Big XII got 3 teams in the Elite 8 if ever. Chris Beard has done an outstanding coaching job. Makes me want to see us go get Henson when Lon retires.

2003 had OU, UT, KU.

They had to play an 8 or 9 in the second round. They played a 5 in the third round. Those are not major upsets whether the bracket holds or not. They play the 2 seed next.

and then either a 1 or a 3 in the final four.

First off, they now have to play Duke in the Elite Eight. However, as a #1 seed, you're supposed to have a fairly easy road to the Elite Eight. Think of OU in 2003 - beat a #16 (SC State), then a #8 or #9 in California, followed by a #12 seed in Butler. Not exactly Murderer's Row.

No one can top Kansas for "lucky draws" than their 1988 squad. Obviously, they had to beat an #11 seed in Round One, but the #3 seed lost to a #14, so KU got to play the #14 in Round Two. In the Sweet 16, you would think they would have played the #2 seed, but they lost to a #7, so #6 KU was still playing lower-seeded teams until the Elite Eight. So, they played a #1 seed in the Elite Eight, right? No; that team (Purdue) was knocked out in the Sweet 16 by a #4 seed in Lon Kruger's KSU. For a #6 seed, that will probably never again happen in college basketball.
