NCAA Tournament thread

Kansas is going to win the title and it makes me sick.

msu was a pretty good 3 pt team...shot like crap today. ku will have to get through clemson, and either duke or cuse...not an easy road.

Then nova...I'll take the field vs ku.

My question has still not been answered. Has there been a title team that didn't have a single NBA player?

Not in my lifetime

Even teams like 87 Indiana had guys that had a cup of coffee in the league

What if you had Hollis, Woodard, quanis, Ryan Minor, Ryan Spangler, Bookout, Stone, Nolan Johnson, skeeter Henry, Jackie Jones. They could win a championship Every guy on that team can shoot three pointer except Stone and none played in the NBA.

Stone???

Out of all the possibilities....

Great roke player and leader. Who would be your third center that didn’t play in the NBA. Also a local kid. T

That '87 team had 4 guys who made it to the NBA. No great NBA players obviously. Two with a cup of coffee in the league.

Don't have to have Calipari UK talent, but have to have NBA talent to win a title. Even if Butler beats Duke with the half court shot in 2010, that team had 2 guys who played in the NBA (both are actually still in the NBA).

Thank you for your magical team.

I went back 40+ years and every title team had at least one player make the NBA. How much more evidence does there need to be that "heart and hustle" isn't enough? And that isn't to say that "heart and hustle" don't mean anything, but ultimately you have to have NBA talent on your roster.

This ATM vs Mich game reminds me of our FF game against Nova. Mich can’t miss but ATM can’t defend either.

Loyola is a good tournament team. They will run if it is there and make you defend for the entire shot clock if it is not. Their guards also finish at the rim. I love how they move and they play tough D. All without any super stars but with guys who still have good skills.

Nevada is also a tough team.

thank you, loyola. you are so much fun to watch. keep the dream alive!

Nevada coach lost that one. Some terrible decisions down the stretch.

man, Loyola is all about mental toughness. I have seen every minute of their games so far and I dont think a single one of them has flinched at clutch time. they are tough as nails. felt bad because Nevada was a pretty salty group too.

When is an official going to T-up the K-State used car salesman for being on the court? He was dancing around just a minute ago and almost hit KY player on the court!

Michigan is so much fun to watch. I think we try to do what they're doing on offense but they just do it so much better.

This group of officials calling the KY-KSU game tonight are sure 'nuff a whistle-happy bunch! Every time down the floor a whistle blows.
Someone should tell them that THEY are not the main point of emphasis...
