Duke and Carolina and Kansas in the FF … not sure if this is a sign of the apocalypse or one of Dante’s levels of hell.

I live in the Triangle area. Might go outside this area to watch that game if it happens. This place will explode. First time ever Duke/Carolina will face each other in the NCAA Tournament IF it happens.

That's why using one tournament, in a single year, is a poor way to judge things. Too small of a sample (handful of teams), to form any concrete conclusions.

Baylor lost early this year.

Last year:
#3 seed KU lost in the second round.
#3 seed UT lost in the first round.
#3 seed WVU lost to #11 seed Syracuse in the second round.
#4 seed OSU lost to #12 seed Oregon State in the second round.


OU and TT played to seed. And we know what Baylor did.

Last two years, Big 12 has 13 teams make the Dance, and only 2 Elite 8 teams. Better than the Big 10, but let's not act like the Big 12 has been dominating either.

Punish the conference/teams for what happened in the tournament the year before? lol, that is crazy. Glad they haven't done that in football to OU, with us not having a very good CFP record.

Baylor won every game last year by like 20+ so doesn’t really matter what else happened. Big 12 had the best NET/KenPom rankings both years, as well. Big ten hasn’t had great metrics and their results have been embarrassing. They shouldn’t be getting 9 teams in again for the foreseeable future.

Matchups for UNC? Not so sure. They've had solid players for years. Bacot is a 5 star, Love is a 5 star. Davis is a McDonalds All-American. They've had the talent, they just had to put it together.

Yes. It does matter.

The argument I always see about the Big 12 being the best/toughest is that it is from top to bottom. If that is the measurement, one team being the best in the Nation isn't the measuring stick. And if that is the measuring stick, then it's the ACC or Big East since those two conferences have won 10 of the last 12 titles.

Yeah the Jayhawk Invitational continues. Play a double digit seed to get to the FF, then will get a crippled Nova. Really hate it that Houston couldn’t make a shot. I think Houston would have been a very tough matchup for Kansas.

I hope I'm wrong in a sense. But I think all four games this weekend will just suck. Think Kansas blows out Miami. I think UNC does not matchup well with St. Peters like Purdue did. Purdue was slow. UNC is not slow, and has just as great of guard play. Plus, can hit the 3 pretty easily.
