NCAA Tourney the Thread

He won't be an NBA player because the NBA has 6'7 and 6'9 Centers. The NBA is ass backwards now. Centers have to shoot the 3 or they won't get drafted. Even the Illinois big man isn't expected to be Drafted and that guy is a stud. And Bacot was the best player in the Tournament. Not even close.

lol a center that is under 50% from the field in 4 of the 6 tourney games .. .

he wasn't the best player on his own team in the tournament ..

and maybe you should look up Paolo Banchero

He broke the record for double doubles in the Tournament. LOL. But yeah man. He's not good. You do realize how befuddling your comments are right now?

This man talking about shooting percentages. While the player being talked about broke records. Whew.

do you realize that missing shots is NOT GOOD for a guy that never shoots outside the paint ..

Okay man. I don't really care if you're still getting 10-15 points, protecting the paint enough to alter shots, and rebounding to the point your team is winning the rebounding battle by 20. In the Pro's shot percentage matters. In college, rebounding matters. Hence the reason UNC only lost by 3 and was still in the game despite shooting a measly 25% from the field.

again not 1 shot under 50%

he was 6 for 23

Yeah. I wouldn't want Bacot on OU. He doesn't dominate with his rebounding or alter shots with his size. He sucks. Jacob Groves>Bacot. Woof this is bad.

You over there talking trash about a man that tied David Robinsons record for Double Doubles in a season and broke Tim Duncans record for double doubles. This is some kind of special.

Dang how big of a fit are you going to throw? McCormick was better than Bacot during the game, not even a debate. Now you're throwing random names out from OU for some reason. Just because your team lost & you were wrong about Bacot being better than McCormick doesn't mean you have to get so defensive, just admit your wrong or take a break from the keyboard.

Wasn't my team. Jesus. I'm throwing out stats on what Bacot did. And McCormick was better? Lawd. You guys watched a totally different game than I did. Bacot had the same amount of points, more rebounds, and played at 55% and still was better than McCormick but you guys thought McCormick was better? YEESH. This is sad.

Bacot was the best player in the tournament. Hands down. He rebounded Carolina to the title game.

LOVE had 20+ in the second half in the elite 8 and final 4 game

that is why they went to the championship game

brady had 26 in 30 min vs baylor that is why they beat them

Carolina had 15 offensive rebounds vs UCLA. Outrebounded UCLA by 9. I would argue RJ Davis was more impactful vs Baylor (he had 30). Manek was out 10 minutes left in the 2nd half. Bacot had 15 and 16 with 3 blocks vs Baylor. I guess that's just awful? UNC had 24 offensive rebounds vs Kansas to Kansas 8. Bacot had 10 points and 21 rebounds vs Duke. I'm not going to continue this. As Manek wasn't consistent through the Tournament like Bacot was. Neither was Love (sucked vs Baylor and Kansas). Love, Manek, and Davis were all bad vs Saint Peters. You know who wasn't? Bacot. Keep pushing that God awful narrative though. Again. Broke the record for double doubles in the Tournament. That within itself should be enough.

You've defended them like crazy, so yeah I'm pretty sure it's your team. Which is fine, you're just acting like a 12 year old. Bacot has been better than McCormick, but McCormick was better that night.

ncaa tourney stats ..

18.83 ppg 8.33 RB 1.5 Blocks on 54.2/47.8/71.4 shooting 1.3 turnovers

or 15.3 ppg 14.83 RB 1.5 Blocks on 42.2/0.0/59.2 shooting and 2.0 turnovers

everyone pretty much would take the first guy

Not really, UNC had someone step up every night as posted by other people. Davis & Manek vs Baylor, Love in the Elite 8 & Final 4, Bacot was very good though. If UNC would've won I'd say Love probably would've gotten MOP.
