Amric Fields is another Oklahoma kid I thought Capel missed out on. Fields would have given us a quality big with enough size at 6' 9" 220, as well as the talent and skills to play a huge role for OU this year, and maybe even start. Too bad we let him get away.

He was on the fense of High D1 and lower tier. I can understand passing on him at the time.

Yeah, you may be right. I saw him play on television not long after he signed with TCU and thought he was better than a couple of bigs OU signed back then. He's having a good year. But he really didn't contribute much until this season.

He's been injured most of his time at TCU, but is a quality player that would have been good enough to get meaningful minutes here.
