You state that he is caught in a horrendous shooting slump. You also state that hopefully he will snap out of it, which is not a given. And you also state that he is one of the top 3 to 4 point guards in the league. Your words.
When a person who is playing well is ridiculed then that is something to take note of but until that time occurs it is neither sad nor funny.
You do realize, I hope, that a player's value is not determined by a poor performance in one or two games. Jordan Woodard has proven his worth to the Sooners over a stretch of a season and a half. I never said, or even implied, that Woodard should never be criticized. But to ridicule (your word) a kid like Jordan (or any other college player) is truly sad and not the least bit funny.
