I sure hope you are right.
For odd some reason, I doubt that...

Never going to get it, probably best to go with the: "It was mutually beneficial to all parties involved." explanation and let it go. We lost a guy off the bench, I can think of worse [no jinx!].
Gary has said all along that Pledger wasn't going to start this year.
He's also said that M'Baye is going to be a wing player and 3-point specialist.
You can watch a million practices, but it doesn't make you know anything about basketball.
He is also the best 3 pt. shooter on the team. Better than Pledger.
So you want us to believe that a guy that shot 11% and 16% from three in his first two college seasons, in about 7 months, improved enough that he is better than Pledger, a guy that during is worst shooting season to date, still managed to shoot it at a 34% clip, and currently sits at 48% for this season?
Really? You believe M'Baye made THAT much progress, mostly on his own since team stuff was limited until what, October? Got a feeling you are alone on this one. And there are a few staff members on this board that have seen him as much as you have, and they aren't saying such things.
the best "practice" shooter on the team is Neal and it is not close ...

Before we attack this kid, we should keep in mind that he is a 19 year old kid that is hurt and confused. He has lost the two people in this world that he turned to in a crisis. I don't see anyone ripping on Osby or M'Baye for transferring and Osby transferred for basically the same reason. Maybe we should wish the kid good luck and be sorry that things didn't work out for a kid that's had a tough year.
Newell thought he should be a starter and decided to leave. The coaches didn't want him to leave but he or anybody else on this team is good enough for them to try and change their mind. He wasn't very involved with his teammates.
Good news we have another scholarship to give.
If they bring in Henry in the Spring that means he will be taking that scholarship this year.
