I've read that OU is likely to start a two-year series with Wisconsin next season, and know they are headed to the Diamond Head Classic over Christmas. Does anyone know of any other games on the non-con schedule? Any rumors on who the opponent will be in the Big 12/SEC challenge? This board is a great source of info for me up here in WSU/KU country, so thanks in advance for any insight!

One note, hopefully we can have a good year, as OKC is hosting a 1st round NCAA regional, that would be sure nice to play in. And the final four is in Houston. If we could make it you can bet I will be at both.

Cool.

I think Tulsa is hosting the following year. Be nice to keep the team close to home for the first two games.

If Buddy returns does anyone think we start in top 12?

Yes, but would put it right around that number. Not sure what all other teams have, but coming off a sweet 16, and voters will see the Big 12 POY returning, but know Thomas left, would think 10-15 could be very likely. I bet we get some top 10 votes though

Creighton

@Wisconsin
Big 12/SEC Challenge
Diamond Head Classic

My bet is that's all the top tier games we have for the year. Throw in Tulsa, and I can't imagine we'll schedule anymore tough games.

Do we have a return with Wasthington?

I've heard the 1st Wisconsin game is in Norman, but who knows.

Could get a great road win @Wisconsin too, with them losing seniors Kaminsky & Jackson and possibly Dekker & Nigel Hayes to the draft.

Refresh my memory...is there a certain way they determine match ups for Big 12-SEC? I was thinking Arkansas or Texas A&M (they've got a pretty amazing class coming in) would be likely opponents, but I could be totally off base.

BYU is usually a pretty good team.

Auburn has a good coach. They finished strong with a nice run of three wins in the SEC tournament.

I agree that OU should be favored.

BYU can score but they have never defended anyone. With Hield, we're definitely the favorites. Without him, we probably should be also.

Pretty sure OU hosts Wisconsin first. Return trip the following year.

BYU is losing their all time leading scorer. Think they'll drop off next year.
