Just saw a trending tidbit online Oklahoman that she is transferring. No other information.

hate to see her go but wish her the best. I thought she would contribute more this coming season.

An obvious transfer move.
Her playing time has disappeared.
Another guard/wing transfer is very likely. Too many
players at the same positions.

Ahhhhh...I'm going to miss her....She had such an infectious smile.....Wish her ALL the best with her future!!!

Yep, definitely gone. I think LaNeshi or Tonya are next. Too many guards ahead of them. They could definitely start a ton of different places.

Hardy,
Sadly it will be someone.
the two incoming kids for 2016 are too talented not to break into the rotation.
Add in the fact that Mulkey plus Treece, EJ, Vi, means you can play two big nows, so that's even less
minutes at the guard/wing area.

I think it is sad. She put her heart in soul into OU. I wish she would stay and graduate. OU doesn't need the scholarship. Where will she transfer? D 2? Sit out a year? I wish her the best. She is a big part of OU womens basketball.#OUDNA

One of my favorite Sooner women, big crush on her.
She seemed so hot / cold on the team

I think this is about her, but really about basketball. I always thought she loved the team and the coach. I wonder if she wants to move on in life, which is a statement that she makes.

She was the #19 prospect in the nation. But, did she ever give that type of effort to the idea of being a great player? I got the impression that she was having fun, but wasn't willing to commit to what it would take to be better. Other things were more important. I could be wrong in this. She just never seemed to want it the way that some do.

I'll be most curious to see if she plays basketball. If so, where? Her mother is in Nashville. Her brother is at Vandy. Wasn't she friends with the Alexander girl that went to Bryant? I just don't see her transferring in order to play basketball. With her talent, she could have been a lot better here.

I think she ends up at Vandy. I'm not sure she plays again. One year? Doesn't make sense. I think she is going home to be close to family and move on with her life.

Who really knows, but only a handful, what spurs a young person to do these things?

She always seemed spirited but just never found her niche. I suspect she was busy enjoying life and after her sophomore year she saw the writing on the wall.

Beautiful young woman. Wondrous smile that always seemed to me to be a spark of pure joy.

She and Maddie always seemed very, very close. I'm wondering how long her departure grieves Maddie and what impact it has.

Hand, Hook, Kornet and Manning. They seemed always like a foursome, sisters. Like the last links to another era.

This could be a devastating blow to Maddie and really crush her, IMHO.

You don't have very many best friends in life. Losing one can break you.

Kornet and Peyton have been close friends for years. That is a main reason Peyton came to OU.

I don't know if we will ever know why Kornet has become disenchanted at OU but apparently it was a significant issue.

I see Hand, Hook, Kornet, and Manning as so different that they are hardly of the same species. I don't think Morgan had the athletic ability of the other three, and she seemed very intense. Whitney was all business. Maddie is the one that you would want in a fight. She relishes contact, which I think the others avoid. Maddie is a bit of an "in your face" defender. Nicole didn't seem to have the desire that the others had.

Alexander went to Liberty University in Virginia.

I don't know her reasons, but burnout is something that does happen. I know a young woman who played D-1 women's basketball as a scholarship player a few years ago and after her junior year decided she was done and just simply didn't want to play any longer and finish her degree and move on with her life.

I saw the Oklahoman article that the original post mentioned, but I wonder why OU doesn't have a press release about it or anything? I don't see anything on the internet with any quotes from Nicole or Coach Coale. Typically you see that fairly quickly with transfers.
