I don't know her reasons, but burnout is something that does happen. I know a young woman who played D-1 women's basketball as a scholarship player a few years ago and after her junior year decided she was done and just simply didn't want to play any longer and finish her degree and move on with her life.
I thought Maddie and Peyton had become close.
I remember no discussion when Jenna or Felisha left. Was there any commentary when Kelly left? We didn't even see any comment from Sherri when Harden left.

An obvious transfer move.
Her playing time has disappeared.
Another guard/wing transfer is very likely. Too many
players at the same positions.
Kelly Lam.
I would think that LaNesia might be a candidate. But,
---LaNesia is going to the Caravans for women's basketball as the team representative, and
---LaNesia is the one person who was just absolutely insane about her desire to come to OU. She is a huge fan.
I don't know what her attitude might be if she has to sit, and she will have to improve. But, she is also very quick.

Players want to play.
Sometimes it is as simple as that.
Everyone of the kids OU signed was probably the best player on their HS team.
Or a high minute starter at the very least.
Environment and academics obviously play a big role too, but when you're not playing
the allure of OU as your dream school can evaporate pretty fast.
Dropping a level and playing one last season of organized basketball has a lot of appeal to someone like Kornet. Probably. She knows that she's not playing beyond this.

Wyatt has a brother or something in Norman. The situation is probably a bit different. I doubt that Derica was highly-recruited, and she is probably happy. Sherri did mention on a recent caravan-related show that Derica and Gioya were making a lot of progress.
It's different when your father graduated from Vandy, your brother is at Vandy, and your mother is now at a Nashville TV station. What is the draw in Dallas?
Wyatt's brother left Norman, think after fall semester, 2014, if not before. Agree that probably Derica was not as highly recruited so that could be a factor in her being okay with her playing time, plus she hasn't played and then dropped in her playing time as Nicole has. Finally, she has been dating someone here for over a year, I believe.
Nicole's position on the team has changed, her playing time has changed and her home is Dallas BUT there is no HOME there since her parents moved, so could be a factor, as you say. Derica and Shaya and T'ona going nowhere unless Sherri pushes them out and, as I have mentioned, I do not know how that works nor how Sherri does it or if it is something that she has or would do.
