NIcole Kornet

I don't see Sherri as the type of person to push someone out. I think if the bench players are content, and not terribly upset they don't play a lot they will stay all for 4 years. This team has a lot of chemistry so I think I would take a major life change or being unhappy that would send them out the door.

Well said. I also have no idea why people seem to almost push some of these girls out the door when they may just like being at OU enough to accept their roles with the team.

"She represents everything that is good in our sport."
Geno Auriemma.

Sherri has a responsibility to the players that she had brought to the University of Oklahoma. They are now her people, her family. The last player on the bench is her responsibility. There may be a prospect that might set the world on fire, but she is not as important as the last player on the bench. When she is offered and accepts a scholarship to the University of Oklahoma, she will achieve equal status with the last player on the bench.

Not true Norm she is still dating the same athlete for the past two years, I don't see her leaving the OU program.

I just checked Twitter and she does have his picture on her page again now. I noticed a couple of months ago it was missing for some reason. Guess everything is fine now.

She also posted something that sounded like she was not in a relationship.

I read her mother's blog. Nicole took a 2wks course in Ireland. After toured Europe for 4 days with her mom. She said the bonded again. Today she tweeted that she was excited for Nicole and thank the Lord. Had a pic of her and Nicole in Nashville.

Nothing but the best for Nicole. I hope she is content and happy and finds whatever she is looking for. Good luck to her.

I think we all hope for the best for the future of Nicole. She was a part of the University of Oklahoma for three years, and I hope that she remembers it as a warm and valuable part of her life.

Well, I was wrong..NOT a first. Her mother said she was definitely going to play basketball ...found this on her facebook page. From twitter of the 20th, I am guessing Nicole has made a decision.

Well, she should be in school somewhere. I am just really curious as to where. I would like to continue to follow her college career.

A week ago she posted an Instagram from the Stanford golf course? She was with former OU soccer player Kelsey Kraft (and Condoleezza Rice!). Not sure if that means she ended up in the Stanford area or not.

I have a hunch that she ended up at mtsu. But I'm not certain.

Nicole will attend some where on the west coast, what I hear, could be UCLA, or Oregon. West coast classes have not started yet.

It looks like she's really wants a chance to play and start over, can't blame her... Good luck to Her.

Since she will have to sit out a year, one would think she will have her masters when she finishes with basketball.

Not that I know of, usually she hasn't in the past on transfers.

I can remember only one, maybe two times since 2001 when she hasn't made a comment. I am very surprised she hasn't said anything.

There's usually the boilerplate press release.
"We wish (insert name here) all the best in her athletic future and appreciate her contributions to the program while she was here. etc..."

No recognition from Sherri is odd.

Yes, especially from someone who was as touted and was supposedly team first, played by Sherri's rules.

It's not like we're talking about Plumley, Vining, etc.

Kornet is visiting UCLA currently. According to Brandon Clay on Twitter, she is down to UCLA & Oregon State. Looks like she isn't done with basketball.
