Agreed, any school with a big alumni base (UT, A&M, tOSU, etc.) is going to benefit big time. As stated, the question for schools is going to be if these NIL deals cut into their regular donations and hurt their athletic program.

True, but also . . . donations to an athletic department should theoretically be applied to things that help schools attract/retain players. Stadiums/arenas, facilities, recruiting budget, etc. To the extent NIL money flows directly to the players, some of those things will probably be less important to recruits. Ultimately, schools with the most/wealthiest donors will likely still end up in a good positions, the money will just be distributed differently.
