Non Conference Schedule

We should be in position to make the tournament, but only time will tell...

Undetermined final

Stephen F. Austin in Norman
Houston, there
Abilene Christian in Norman
Wichita State there
Western Kentucky at Bowling Green

UConn at Uncasville, CT

We can win some of these games without much improvement. I will be very surprised if we don't make the semi-finals of the NIT, at least.

Mac I take the much easier than normal schedule by Sherri to mean she does not think this team has the talent or experience to handle a tough non conference schedule. So to give us a chance to develop some confidence going into the Big 12 we are scheduling games we should win. I think WNIT is a reasonable expectation for this team and the NCAA is unlikely.

This team should be able to win more then 4 games in the big 12 this year... most players make a jump between freshman and sophomore year... the team can only go up from last year, looking around the big12 it’s still a down year, and once again I think the Sooners can finish in the top 4 of the conference.

Hope you are right but I see OU finishing the conference at 8-10 to 10-8 with 8-10 more apt. 10-8 was good for a 6th place finish in 2018 and a 4th place finish needed a 11-7 record. I think improving 4 in the conference would be a very good year for the girls and asking for a 6 game improvement might be a little much. 8 wins would have been good for 7th last year.

I could be missing something, but based off talent and experience returning, what teams lost what teams are bring back, where would you rank OU as far as big 12 play goes and where we should/could finish in the conference?

Im going with 4th, maybe 5th if West VA can put out a decent team, if not then the usual suspects, Baylor, Texas, And Iowa st are the only teams I rank ahead of OU, and that’s only due to talent and coaching...
