Opening tip?

I was wondering.....have we won an opening tip since we started conference play?

And when games are often decided by one possession, would Kruger ever think about starting Lattin to try to get the opening tip? He could always sub at the first whistle. Just a thought.

Well this makes no sense.
Especially since the other team wins the first jump ball or gets possession at halftime. The opening tip is useless.

In high school & college you could get 1 more possession in the game because they go by possession arrow on jump balls.
