Was looking at the schedule and when I saw Oregon State I thought... "Thats an easy game"... Definitely don't think that after looking into them.

They went 10-8 in the Pac 12 last year... and have some really good pieces. They are also a really big team. This should be a really tough early season game on the road. Bunch of older guys on the team too.

PG: Ethan Thompson (6'5'' 195 - Junior)
-Averaged 13.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.5 blocked shots in 34.4 minutes per game.. Finished 14th in the Pac-12 in scoring (13.7), eighth in assists (3.9), ninth in assist/turnover ratio (1.6) and eighth in minutes (34.4) … His 120 assists are the sixth most by a sophomore in Oregon State history

SG: Sean Miller-Moore (6'5'' 200 - Junior)
-Played two years at Moberly Area Community College in Moberly, Mo. … Led the Greyhounds to a 28-7 record.. Averaged 18.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists, while shooting 59.1 percent (262-for-443) from the field, 32.6 percent (28-for-86) from beyond the arc and 74.2 percent (95-for-128) from the free throw line as a sophomore

SF: Tres Tinkle (6'7'' 225 - Senior)
-All-Pac-12 First Team.. Averaged 20.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.5 blocked shots in 36.4 minutes per game... Finished second in the Pac-12 in scoring (20.8), fifth in rebounding (8.1), ninth in assists (3.8), third in steals (1.7), 14th in field goal percentage (.483), 14th in 3-point field goals made (1.8), 13th in assist/turnover ratio (1.3) and second in minutes (36.4)

PF: Payton Dastrup (6'10'' 240 - Junior)
-Transfer from BYU... Averaged 3.3 points and 2 rebounds per game as a sophomore. Sat out last year. Shot 43% from 3pt line for BYU but only averaged 8 minutes per game.

C: Kylor Kelley (7'0'' 215 - Senior)
Averaged 7.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.3 steals and 3.4 blocked shots in 23.5 minutes per game … Selected to the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team … Selected to the midseason watch list of players in contention for the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Award … Led the Pac-12 and finished second in the nation in blocked shots per game (3.35) … Finished second in the Pac-12 in field goal percentage (.654) … His 104 blocked shots are the most in Oregon State single-season history and the sixth most in Pac-12 single-season history … His blocked shots average of 3.35 is the best in Oregon State single-season history

Their backups in the paint are 6'10'' 240... 6'10'' 200... 7'1'' 265...

Very tough game, Ethan Thompson will be a 1st rounder after this year imo.

And you know he is tough after having to grow up with the last name Tinkle.

If you're last name is going to be Tinkle, it's good that you are 6'7'' 225.. People probably won't mess with you about it.
