OSU at Missouri

And next year is Fords do or die year. He has to do well and I am excited for next years squad especially id D-Will gets his bs dropped.

Smart
Brown
Nash
Cobbins
D-Will

Bench
B-Will
Jurick
Cesar
JUCO pg

If he cant get it done with that top 9 he should be gone.

That looks like a great starting lineup but unfortunatly thats not the way Ford will do it. He will continue to go with the smaller lineups. You will see Nash and Olukemi playing the 4 more than they should.

I disagree. Add Williams and a more experienced Cobbins and he wont have to, right now he does it out of necessity.

The main thing that OSU will still lack next year is an outside shooter.

The only edge OSU has on OU is size/athleticism on the perimeter (minus Page). OU has better point guard play, a better perimeter scorer in Pledger, and better inside play (I am a fan of Cobbins, though, despite his pretty mediocre production this year). Coaching is also a huge edge OU.

It's funny... with all of those advantages, why did OSU easily beat OU in their one matchup this year?

And why, despite its mediocre season, does OSU at least have two pretty high-quality conference wins beating Mizzou and Iowa State?

I'm certainly not crowing about us being good or anything, but I don't know how you could basically give OU advantages in almost every area when OSU has clearly been the better team in conference play.

Keep telling yourself that. He's done it every year he has been there. He continues to run off the majority of post players he has had. He has lack of size b/c he doesn't make it a priority to keep and recruit big men.

Mark my words, Nash and Olukemi and maybe even Smart will be playing the 4 a lot next season.

All of the 2010-11 season had posts starting and playing substantial time at the 4 and 5. Either Moses/D. Williams or Moses/Pilgrim. That's a traditional 4 and 5.

No. Paige is a 3 point shooting black hole who can't shoot 3s. I'd concede on the other Aggies, but I will not concede on Page being a hypothetical starter for OU in this scenario.

Bump bump biddaaa

Lets not forget that Franklin was playing the 4 before he decided he was tired of playing that position and Moses is 6'6 which is about the size that he likes his post players to be. And their were a lot of times when Moses was playing the 5.

That's because neither of those players had the skill set to play on the wing. Nash and JP are both more skilled players.

Well until he consistently plays 2 post players, I'm going to stick with my gut that he is going to continue to play Olukemi and Nash in the 4 spot. In 4 seasons I have seen Muonelo, Franklin, Moses, and Nash play the 4 spot. So we will see.

To say Moses is not a true post is totally incorrect.
