OSU getting blasted against Bama

The rest of the season if OSU wins we'll wonder how bad the other team was rather than wonder how good OSU must be.

Man, OSU is going to have to improve quite a bit to end up 15-16. If they play like they have the last 3 games, it will be more like 12-19.

That sucks because I dont want them to lose Ford. OSU is one of the few teams we've been able to beat in the Big 12 South the past few years. With all the MAA's Texas and Baylor get and the solid program A&M has, we can' afford OSU to get a decent coach in there.

Thanks to Ford, I really enjoyed watching OU beat OSU 5 times in a row from 2007-2009, including 2 in a row in Stillwater. That is rare. Kelvin only won 3 games in Stillwater in 12 years.

Beating them in Stoolwater in 08 without Blake Griffin or WW was cool, but this one was the best IMO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MITZNw2wxVk&feature=related

You fellas need your memories refreshed. Ford has never lost more than twice to OU in a row. He did have a nice little 3 game win streak against OU, enjoyed that. Ford has a a record of 4-4 against OU, including 2-0 vs. OU in the Big 12 tournament. Two of his wins against have been around 20 point thrashings while he has never lost to OU by more than 8 points, the losses have all been really really close for the most part.

I'm assuming that the 5 game win streak you're talking about is including Sean's teams which is true, but in the end Ford ended that in 2009 when the Griffins and company pathetically choked on a fat one to unranked OSU in the Big 12 tournament ranked #7. I bet that one still has to sting. All this in OKC in front of all their friends and family, lost any shot of winning a conference title of any sort with Griffin. Now that one was fun to watch. You can relive the memories below.

OU is 0-3 against OSU all time in the Big 12 Tourney, just fyi. The beatdown OSU put on OU the following year in the tourney was even better imo.

Seriously, dude?

This. Honestly, I'll be a little disappointed if OU doesn't sweep OSU this year. Not saying it should happen, but the coaching mismatch alone should be worth 8-10 points.

The biggest difference seems to be that OU is improving every week, while OSU seems to be regressing. Nash played well last night, and they still got blasted by an NCAA bubble team missing their best player for the entire game, and their 3rd best player for most of the game.

Here are some nice national rankings for GIA. Try to spin this:

OSU:
PPG- 191st
Reb- 105th
Asst- 311th
FG%- 262nd
3pt%- .329

OU:
PPG- 31st
Reb- 5th
Asst- 79th
FG%- 120th
3pt%- .432

Spin what? We suck right now. When have I defened what we're putting on the floor. If OU turns out to be good then I'll give them their props but how do we know yet? I've asked on here before if OU fans really think they would be 10-1 if they played OSU's schedule, still haven't received a yes to that question so I think you can all admit that the one schedule is much much more difficult than the others pre-conference.

OU is 9-1 and the new polls just came out today, OU is not just unranked but have ZERO votes in either. Meanwhile in the AP poll there are:

1 team with 3 losses
8 teams with 2 losses
10 teams with 1 loss

Interesting.

Would OSU be 9-1 with OU's schedule?

Most likely not, never said they would be. I'd optimistically guess 8-2 and 7-3 at worst. OU is ahead of OSU right now in the eyeball test, not arguing that but 9 out of the past 10 years OU would be ranked and at the very least getting A vote in either poll if they were sitting at 9-1. That's just unheard of.

I predict OU will be NIT and OSU at this rate is CBI and I'm certain we will have our hands full in Stillwater against OU. I guess there's really no reason arguing who's what until 6 games into conference or so, time will tell. Best of luck.

I am a fan of Kruger btw, good guy. My father attended K-State and I remember watching him when I was younger with pops. If he takes you guys to the tourney after a two year post-season absence then it definitely looks like a home run hire and I'll eat the crow.

I also find it humerous that kind aggy has selected from the two worst years since the modern era of OU basketball to compare programs. You should feel real proud that Ford beat us - everyone else did as well....

Your stellar schedule is dropping like a rock btw...down to 54 with a woeful SMU team coming up. 54 is a SCARY strength of schedule. :D

Clown smack

But Traber and Al Asscrack said Capel would leave Norman NCAA top 10 all time in wins. (sorry, I still can't forget that)

It's not OSU's fault that Capel was that bad. I still hope he mailed Griffin 70% of his pay because if it weren't for that guy Capel could have been even worse. Hell, even Sean could make the NIT, Capel had a hard time with winning records.

Sean's years were the worst we were in a long long time, I guess those years don't count either. Nice Sooner logic, you can't pick and choose years. You are what you are, blame the administration.

I like how GIA is criticizing OU for the inability to beat the Pokes three straight in one season back in 2009 (when it is generally extremely difficult to beat any team three times in a row)... Convenient strategy.

I also like how GIA didn't acknowledge that his boy Ford was unable to sweep OU the last two seasons when OSU was a much, much better team... And this was when OU was fielding two of its worst seasons in the history of the program. Again, convenient strategy.

That's the Aggy way!!!

Are you really running smack with the team you are have this year? A team that needed a miracle to beat UTSA on their home floor? A team that has 5 losses on their schedule already? :facepalm

It's tough to determine what this person is really arguing, other than "Bad things once happened to you, and we have beaten you some times."

If that is an argument, then I am confused.
