Statistics:

OSU is 12-4 overall, 2-3 in conference play. They are 2-3 away from home (only five games away from home). They lost at Baylor and TCU, neither of which is a disgrace. They lost at home to West Virginia, i.e., their ranking is probably in jeopardy. According to realtimerpi, they had the #153 SOS. North Carolina (L) and USC (W) are the only two teams that they played rated higher than 145.

Their statistics look pretty good. But, those statistics are a bit lower against conference opposition. They are pretty much in the middle of the conference on about everything with no obvious weaknesses. They don't really have a good three point shooter in conference play. Johnson and Atkins were pretty good in non-conference play. At 65%, they aren't really a good free throw shooting team. Donohoe and Johnson can hit them.

Martin and Donohoe are among the top ten scorers and rebounders in the Big Twelve. They are pretty good, which we knew. LaShawn Jones can be a handful under the rim.

They aren't as good as their ranking. But, they aren't as bad as their 2-3 conference record might suggest. Their loss to West Virginia may cause us to be a bit overconfident, and they aren't bad.

They always play a terrible non conference schedule, but you can bet the farm they will be ready for OU. They subscribe to the Mike Gundy philosophy on non con scheduling. They have some good players, also.

Atkins and Donohoe were both injured in the game with WVU yesterday.

Atkins played the first 5 minutes of the game, got injured and never returned.

Donohoe was injured, left the game and then returned with an obvious limp.

I think this will be a very good first half, but our bench slowly take its toll and I see another double digit win for the Sooners. We receive votes in the polls this week and after taking care of OSU and Tech, we should get into the polls.

OSU is 0-3 on the road in the Big 12 this year.

This is a must win. It would be great to be alone in first place in the conference for over two days.

After OU's contest with OSU tomorrow, Sharane Campbell-Olds, T'ona Edwards & LaNesia Williams will sign autographs.

It could be longer than that if the Horns can upset the Bears. They play tomorrow too.

Silly me, I thought that Baylor played Wednesday night. Who was it that cooked up this schedule?

It's prediction time. I don't know how long this roll can last but, I'm fairly confident it doesn't end tomorrow.

Sooners by 17. Leading scorer? Gotta stay with Gioya. She just continues to amaze.

FYI, this game is being televised nationally on Fox Sports 1 (ch. 219 on DirecTV)

Sooners by 20. They aren't likely to shoot like at TCU, but they are going to be way too much for the Cowgirls.

Love our defensive intensity early. Peyton has 3-4 steals already and T'Ona is hawking ball handlers. Up 16-6 just under 12 to play.

Our posts are playing well but our guards are exceptional right now.
