Osu/ou

Can Gioya keep this up all year? The girl is in fire!

She dropped it back a little, but she's definitely the real deal.

Very impressed with Maddie's contributions. She has things she does that really make me think that OU has what is needed to go far at the next step.

And Nicole played well, too.

We need to block out some in the second half. Kay Kay? One rebound, one basket? Really? Our bigs did not have a good first half. Two points. 4 rebounds.

Gioya started like a house on fire. Then, she slowed down late. Sharane had a good half. Peyton did everything. Five rebounds, five points, two steals. Maddie had a nice block on Donohoe.

After we stretched it to 27-10, we went somewhat silent.

I can guarantee you that people who are watching this game across the country cannot believe OU is not ranked.

OSU will concentrate on slowing Gioya down. That should open things up for the other players.

It's criminal. There are a dozen teams less worth of ranking than OU, and I'm not joking. Making your rep against road kill isn't a rep.

That 5-5 start is still taking its toll on the Sooner's ranking.

No doubt. The biggest problem is that the people who are charged with evaluating the game are generalists, rather than fans of women's basketball.

It's the inevitable consequence of print media losing ground to the internet. Truth is what we can see, though. I can't wait to see what this team looks like in March, because they are going to be scary.

47-26

The only way this could be any better is if the opponent was Baylor. :)

Looks like they got the halftime message! :)

BTW, OU's SOS is the 2nd best of any team in the top 50.

Gioya is god's gift to the Sooner Nation. One of many!

It's starting to look like the Sooners might score in the 90's again.

Ho hum.

Peyton showing some confidence.......

up big ....by 23?

These girls are really playing hard and the score is the result of their effort.

Just think, OSU has been ranked pretty much all season until this week, when they are 1st among "those receiving votes".

They really shouldn't have been ranked that high with their poor, poor non-conference schedule.
