OU at TCU

Pace has showed a bit. OU had an over-and-back that wasn't called about a minute ago.

39-34.

50-43 OU at halftime. TCU must be very happy with their 50+ percent shooting in the first half, but OU shot well over 60% and hit a ton of threes.

And I'm already in sorrow that I didn't pick KK on my Hoopla! team this week. She was unstoppable.

We have done pretty well playing man but we are giving up wide open shots when we go to the zone.

they are .325 from beyond the 3 for the season. Not exactly lights out.

If you notice, we are at least contesting some of those 3s when we are in the man to man and they aren't as effective. They are knocking them down when they get wide open shots in the zone.

When we go inside/out, we look good on offense. Kaylon is wearing them out inside.

I can only listen to the game here in Switzerland so no idea what defense they are playing at any given time.

Sooners shot 64.3% in the first half, with a lot of made threes.

Well do you want to give them a 33 per cent shot or let them drive the lane for an and one. I think over all I would play the match up zone, pass and not dribble against their press and we will beat this team by double digits. They have absolutely no one to stop Kaylon or Vivi. They have combined for 24 first half points. Kaylon may finish with 40 before the game is over. Our biggest problem is the 10 turnovers in the first half. We are playing just a little too fast once we break the press. We settle down, move the ball we will get any shot we want. Maddie, Gabbi, and Gioya are just playing outstanding in running the offense. We just need to play smart and attack on the defensive end. I can live with their out side shooting, because they are not rebounding very well.

Sometimes it's a zone, but as often it's a switching man defense. I like the way Sherri is changing things all the time. It's throwing TCU off their expectations.

The press isn't killing us. They do have an 11-6 turnover margin against us. But, we have a 19-10 rebound margin against them.

Nobody can keep hitting threes the way Gioya is.

They are shooting 41%. If it were 33% I wouldn't be too concerned but at 41% you need to make some adjustments.
