OU at TCU

Well do you want to give them a 33 per cent shot or let them drive the lane for an and one. I think over all I would play the match up zone, pass and not dribble against their press and we will beat this team by double digits. They have absolutely no one to stop Kaylon or Vivi. They have combined for 24 first half points. Kaylon may finish with 40 before the game is over. Our biggest problem is the 10 turnovers in the first half. We are playing just a little too fast once we break the press. We settle down, move the ball we will get any shot we want. Maddie, Gabbi, and Gioya are just playing outstanding in running the offense. We just need to play smart and attack on the defensive end. I can live with their out side shooting, because they are not rebounding very well.
About half of those turnovers had nothing to do with the press. I would also let them shoot from three. I don't think they can keep that up. But, we can't keep 6 of 8 up either.

They are shooting 41%. If it were 33% I wouldn't be too concerned but at 41% you need to make some adjustments.

I'll still take the outside shooting to letting them get to the rim. We are dominating the glass. I'll take lay-ups against out side shooting any day.

Now lets go close out the second half.

No but we can keep up with Kaylon and Vionise scoring at will.

I think this team will be difficult to close out. They have the ability to hit a couple of threes and get back in it.. We just have to keep the pedal to the metal.

We are back in man and TCU is having trouble finding open shooters.

I like fact that we are putting the pedal to the metal and not letting up.

Couple of cheap (questionable) offensive fouls on OU......

I'd like to go on record and state the turnovers are Brian's fault. Every time he mentions they haven't turned it over in a bit, they promptly have 2 or 3 turnovers bunched together.

Up by 19 with 6:30 left, seems like the game may be over. Not quite yet, but close.

LOL. I always think radio/TV people should keep their traps shut about free throws. Every time one says she's a great free throw shooter, she misses. Or the other teams player we just sent to the line doesn't make too many FTs, she'll sink 'em every time.

We are about to join Baylor at 5-0 in conference games, and two games ahead of any other team. When OU was 5-5, I had no idea that this could happen, but it seems very real.

Just think, this team has only 3 scholarship players that are juniors or seniors, with 11 underclassmen. I don't think we are going to go away anytime soon.
