Good start in conference play against a pretty good team.

Baylor is certainly better than I thought they were. They seem to play more "under control" this year. They're pretty well regarded by the computers and rightfully so. I think they will battle for the 4/5 spot with KU and WV.

It was a good win and I'm glad we had to fight for 40 minutes in order to get it. This conference is brutal and many games are going to be a grind like this one was. I think the players understood that and never really let up.

My only disappointment was how many point-blank shots and put-backs we missed today (well, that and the terrible officiating), but overall, a very nice start to conference play.

We're there a lot? I ecall Spangler early and Bennett late. I don't recall all that many others.

My only concern was the lack of production from the bench.

We actually went 9 deep. Booker only played a minute or two. Lattin got used in the 2nd half but Bennett played some decent minutes. Walker made a couple of bad decisions before they came back to Woodard.

I thought Bennett was the best player off the bench today.

Yes I know we played 9 guys, but I meant most of the minutes went to 6/7 of the guys, Booker, as you mentioned, played maybe a minute. Bennett didn't play at all until the 2nd half

I couldn't believe that it was Baylor. Normally they look for an easy shot about 10 seconds and then someone jacks one up from 25. They showed a lot of patience today.

Motley is scary. It is going to be tough in Waco.

Concerned about our depth. Not much production off the bench today. Kruger doesn't seem to have a lot of confidence in the reserves in the tough games.

This makes me worried as injuries and tiring out begins to effect guys in conference play. We'll need a few of our bench guys to step up and play big roles.

A lot of the bench problem today was just their zone. Our most talented offensive players scored the points which is not too surprising. The only way they (Baylor) can really try to change that is by going to man and they are not going to do that. We do need Booker, especially, to get healthy though.
