Ou-bu

Baylor just has too much talent for us to handle. But, we still give them too many chances with our mistakes.

Tough to win shooting 26%. Gave them a good 30 mins though, just not enough.

I'm incredibly proud of how this team played today. When Aaryn scores a season high against the best team in the country, I can live with that. I only wish Sharane and especially Nicole G. had a better game. I understand the task Nicole G. had to undergo, but even when Griner wasn't in the game, Nicole looked a mess. Otherwise, great!!

A game like today is when you really miss Whitney. She can shoot it, defend and rebound. The team played hard, just couldn't get enough stops.

That's about as well as we could have expected to play in Baylor. Hopefully, we can play better defense in Norman and keep it closer.

I am looking forward to next year when Baylor will be minus these senior players:

Griner, Brittney
Hayden, Kimetria
Madden, Jordan
Pope, Brooklyn
Williams, Destiny

The only major contributor coming back will be Odyssey.

Maybe it will be time to see how well Mulkey does without a lineup of seasoned talent, led by a 6-8 superstar...

I noticed that Mulkey is giving the replacements lots of mop-up PT...

Oklahoma, OTOH, loses seniors Hand, Hartman and McFarland, but everybody else returns. If we can avoid another outbreak of ACL injuries and the like, I like our chances to win the conference, including bopping the Bears.

Based on what I saw today, I think we'll be better than 50 - 50 the rest of the way.

Overall I was pleased with the performance today. Obviously lots of room for improvement. I hope the team takes the positives because they have the potential to win the rest of their games including Baylor at home.

I was out doing errands. Is this game worth a watch?

Seems like Pope and Williams have been there eight years.
