I like Sherri but to me she just doesn't seem to have the fire anymore and I believe it shows. To me every since Overton left it has went downhill. She needs to get some new and enthusiastic coaches over on the bench. Than maybe she will get off the bench and get into the game.

Kay Kay gets so intimidate when facing a shot blocker that it limits her usefulness. She is zero for three, and she gives time for Lewis to prepare to block her shot rather than just going up and forcing her to foul. Either go at her or sit down.

Two cheap fouls on Maddie hurt. Defensive collapse with her on the bench.

Derica hits three, misses six.

Wesemann is a good three-point shooter, their only one, but she ish't five for five good.

and this isn't just defense... Maddie didn't even get a shot that half because nobody on the court can pass the ball towards the middle!! Also, Gioya is 5-5- and Derica Wyatt has 4 more shots than her... lol

I expect the problem is we don't have any defenders who can compete with a team full of great athletes.

It appears to me they are dramatically better than us in every phase of the game. Better shooters, vastly more athletic, better intimidators, much faster, seldom make any type of mistake, seldom have a turnover, etc.

We have played way over our heads and still trail by a lot.

What I wonder is how they have lost any games this year.

Theres basically two ways to beat a zone consistently. Get the ball to the middle, or get the ball out in transition. Idk that anybody can actually get a pass into middle, enless maddie could pass it to herself. But I know TT can play D, and I know TT can run. She needs to play this whole half. Lets go SC, its time.

Yeah. Thats just not even remotely the case. Maddie was out, we were up 8 prior. down 11 when she came bk in. We are completely fine, and the FAR superior team on every level. Im just not even sure how you could come to that conclusion. All I'm saying is TT and Vivi need to be in w/ Maddie and Gioya. But we can still beat this team without them, and we will. Maddie is the xfactor, especially against a zone because nobody else can pass the ball... But we definitely fine. clearly.

We beat them by 10 in Norman earlier. KState is not dramatically better than us player wise. I'll repeat, Sherri just has no clue how to put together a winning combination with this bunch.

That is because we are so horribly out of shape. Have been for years. Our inside players look like 80 year old grandmothers when they jog/amble down the court. Note: I have nothing against grandmothers.

all I'm saying is Sweetest is that the best players aren't on the court. I've watched about every game, and that is painfully obvious to me. We don't need to live or die by the 3, we have players that are really athletic (TT/Vivi) and can really play. But we continue to give the minutes to players that want to shoot from 30 feet, then come down on the other end get burnt for layups.. It don't make sense anymore.

All we do is jack it up. Know offense. Sherri sits won her you know what like it's going to get better. Irritates the hell out of me. Get up and coach. People may not like Mulkey but she gets into the damn game and coaches the hell out of her team. Sherri sits over their and twittles her damn thumbs. Get some damn fire in your belly.

S4L, I just do not see how you can call Vivi athletic. She moves so slow. Watch her going down the court. She can barely get her legs moving, kind of slumps, etc. She has some skills that really help us at times - and has outplayed KK by a mile tonight - but she actually has to overcome her lack of athleticism by standing near the goal and getting a pass, and making a 3-4 foot shot.

you must be joking me? She has an explosive first step, Great hands, and a Wide range of post moves. And her greatest asset is she is a complete bull on the block on both ends of the court. Was Courtney Paris athletic to you?

I've certainly not ever thought of Vivi as being much like Courtney. Remember that Courtney made 1st team All American as a Freshman.

Neither did I. But nobody ever accused her of flying up and down the court... Vivi has averaged 12 points over the last 5 games in half of courtneys minutes shooting 70 % ... fairly Courtney Like.
