********OU-Michigan State Game Thread********

God damnit tyler neal ever since that forest gump 1 minute run we've fallen off the cliff.

What are you talking about? Neal's performance has hurt this team far worse than Hornbeak. You're out of your mind.

The thing is Hornbeak is an integral part of the mix while Neal is not expected to contribute much so when an integral component takes a dump it is actually worse.

I know sparty is good but we've played really poorly last 10 minutes. I mean, there's giving up a run and then there's getting run out of the gym. We need to compete harder and play smarter.

started 9/10, 4/18 since with 9 turnovers...I will say I did not expect to win this game but if Neal had just finished a simple layup that's 31-24 instead of 29-28 with his bonehead play and foul

9 turnovers in a half is horrible, you cannot expect to lead with that at HALF! We average 11 a game... Hope they come out focused and limit turnovers!!

Can't blame this on Neal. Everyone's been pitching into the poor play. Cam is the only who came out to play.

Even worse, Buddy was not himself in the first half. He was responsible for three turnovers, two unforced.

First 5 minutes of this half are huge.

I don't expect the team to come back and win. But I want to see their mentality here.
11 point lead flipped to a 14 point deficit. That can kill you mentally. I don't want to see them pack it in. I want them to come out and play like they're going to win.

Officiating has played a huge role in the half. We went cold from the field, but the zebras have played a huge role on both ends of the court. MSU shouldn't need the help but they are certainly getting it.

And the MSU are smug jerks. Seven fouls in the first half and they whined about every one of them.

That's probably helped MSU but we are beating ourselves. The number 1 team is always going to get the benefit of the refs, but I think on the whole they've been consistent. They're calling all our hand checks, and not a lot of MSU's body contact on penetration. I think we need to adjust to that and keep our hand out and up and use our bodies on their guards. If MSU is still getting all the calls after that, then I'd be upset.

Clark has to take over and we need to slow down, no need to push it if we don't have numbers... Too many turnovers trying to push it so much
