*********OU-Northwestern State Game Thread*********

I think the turning point of the half was when Bennett went in about half way through the half. Can't remember the exact time. But I believe the score was 16-15 or 19-15 or something like that. He gave the team some energy there and they never let up after that. The defense led to the big lead. He didn't do much on the box score probably, but our defense and offensive effort was poor before that point.

Don't have game on TV, but just looking at box score: Lattin tide for team high in rebounds? He playing well? I guess it's good to get Buddy's 3% stinker out of the way here so he can go off at home next week. Woodard 7 Ft's already? That's better than not driving.

They are a rather short team so he is a defensive presence but he just cannot get a shot to fall for him.

Thomas just can't get that hook to go early this year for some reason.

Nice pass by Woodard. That's what we need to see more of.

Figures I compliment Woodard and he throws a pass like that.

Half court offense is still shaky. Up 20 first 2nd half media timeout. Woodard has about 5 turnovers now.

It was really poor the first 10-12 minutes of the first half. And still sloppy at times after that. Really a lot of the points came off defense.

That is the best way to score in every sport I have ever played. You win with defense leading to easier offensive opportunities. I don't even understand your comments.

We are the worst second half team I've seen.
We need to change our second half substitution patterns.

Most of the 2nd half we looked decent. Had it as big as 27 at one point. But they just gave up 7 points in like 15 seconds. Offense is just sloppy and the half court offense just looks awful at times.
