Of course they'll improve, but this team has a long long way to go..

A&m beat these guys by 40. Our team is just not in sync right now.

We just aren't near a complete team right now. They are very lazy at times when they don't appear to have any interest guarding the perimeter and they take too many plays off. Our bench is a big part of the problem. The other piece that has to get better is the basketball IQ....we don't appear to have good situational awareness and have little urgency. The good news is that these aspects are correctable, but it takes time and focused effort in order to improve.

Candidly, I'm not looking forward to the Bahamas. Hopefully this team can somehow find a way to win two games.

I think the competition we will face in the Bahamas is exactly what this team needs to start putting everything together.

You're not alone on this one. It could get real ugly unless they have been just going through the motions.

I hope you're right. With our experienced core, I guess I expected this team to be ahead of where they appear to be right now.

2 points scored from midrange up to this point. Horrid.

That means nothing other than this purple team can't stop dribble penetration or defend the three point line. Why would you take those mid range shots over something in the paint or a three point shot?

If they didn't take those shots it would be one thing, but they did.

I'll take the win. These next games have me somewhat concerned. We are going to have to improve quickly or we are looking at a very disappointing start to the season. I think we can do it, but play must improve.

Every game I watch I like Lattin and Walker more. Really solid additions. Turned it over way too much today and it wasn't just Woodard. When it all comes together, this team is going to be a handful for anybody in the country outside of a team or 2.

Woodard had 6 turnovers against NWST? yeesh. Needs to clean it up before UCLA takes him back to the 3rd grade. Is walker not a true PG? He has 2 assists in 3 games? Oh well. Glad they got the W, Cousins was stroking it, and ready for hopefully a fun week in the Bahamas. My optimistic thinking is Buddy has a huge homecoming (he will shoot a ton, just depends which way they fall) and hopefully we can beat UCLA and maybe pull of a stunner against UNC. After the Creighton meltdown we need to go 2-1 here, minimum.

it would be nice to have another true point guard on this team to help Woodard out some especially early this season. Just would hate to see Woodard put too much pressure on himself to be perfect especially early in the season. This will be an interesting thing to watch this weekend in Atlantis if another guard can step up a bit in handling the ball.

the best thing that came out of this game for me was the production of Dinjiyl Walker. I was concerned he was going to end up being another body but he looks like another guy that could put up a dozen points on any given night. that's huge.
