The arena looked pretty empty. Official attendance was 2078, but the only groups of people the camera ever showed were wearing crimson. One group was some of the Sooner Showmen (OU basketball band) - kudos for making the trip and supporting your team!!
I think I figured it out... maybe. Lions coach Jim Schwartz?
Or am I still thinking of someone else?
I was thinking that's pretty close. Both show the same intensity on the side lines. Mittie just a little more amped up.

I remember when I was in that group, we went to the final Bedlam in the Goodenough era (pre-Budke) in Stilly along with some alums (they offered us beer but we were instructed to decline, heh).
They sat us in the first few rows of upper GIA behind the benches and we were louder than the whole rest of GIA... the Poke pep banders were furious. They tried to direct their "Ride, ride" song in our direction. It was one of our down years in the early aughts, but we still won by, like, 10.
Extreme kudos to the OU contingent in Fort Worth. We could see AND hear you on TV
