**********OU-Texas Tech Game Thread**********

Fortunate free throws there at the end of the half. We need to improve in the 2nd half for sure.

Happy to be up 5 after a lot of sloppy play. Hope we can come out and play better in the 2nd half though.

This is exactly what I was worried about. A classic case of playing down to your opponent.

Bad call on Tech there for sure.

M'Baye is soooo close to breaking out. The guy just needs to take care of the ball and knock down more open jumpers.

Strange game. Osby not playing. Hield is ice cold. Hornbeak in foul trouble. Pledger not squaring up. On the other hand, Fitz has been great and we're killing them on the boards. Defense is intense. They should be ahead by more than 5. It worries me that TT is hanging around.

Didn't think we played that poorly. Actually was very pleased with the first 10-15 minutes. Then we started settling for jumpers, and got sloppy with the ball. All the subbing probably doesn't help either.

Our team defense for most of the half was very, VERY good. Nice to see that. The starters attacked early, and had a lot of energy. That is alone is something we haven't seen much of for games like this over the past several seasons. Slowly, we're getting to where we need to be.

Only 7 minutes for Osby in the first half.

I am hoping that he shows up early in the second half. Lets open this up and then get Fitz some more time. We will need a decently rested Ro for KSU this weekend.

Good start by Osby. Now we need to step up on defense and be smart with the ball.

OU up 43-35 at the under 16 timeout. Osby going to the line for 2 when play resumes.

Could be a little cleaner, but good start to the half. Need to keep the heat on and grow a big lead here.

Much more aggressive to start this half. Keep attacking.

Sweet drive and dish by Hield. Hardly seen that from a perimeter player much over the past couple years.
