Ou Twitter today

Lol the comments by the fans crack me up. The fact that he left because he saw the writing on the wall even though a poster said yesterday he was being forced out (which seems to be very true).

Letting Cade make program decision will eventually come back to get them.

Yeah there’s no way you can coach him hard when you let him make personnel decisions, & other players already on the team might resent that.

I don't follow recruiting as closely as some of you. But I just looked up Cade Cunningham. He has offers from all the blue bloods. How in the world is OSU in the running? Not trying to be insulting at all, serious question..

His brother is now a coach at OSU.

Ahh ok thanks. The hire the family member recruiting tactic. Has OU ever done that? I think I heard something about Tisdale, or was that his coach?

WT’s high school coach, Mike Mims, as well as his brother, William.

I’ll add that Mike Mims was one heck of a coach—in high school and at OU. But in defense of hiring him, only a fool would miss the opportunity to sign Wayman Tisdale!

I'm not sure we've ever hired a family member to be on staff. In my head I "think" I remember something, but nothing like Ed Manning in Larryville.

We hired Terry Evans in hopes of cementing De'Angelo Alexander. It was a pipe dream to keep Shelden Williams out of Durham.

Now, we've had no shame in recruiting big brother when we got a look at little brother. Taylor Griffin comes to mind there. Of course, big brother Lucious became the biggest prize in the state once Switzer got a look at "little" brothers Dewey and Lee Roy in the cafeteria at Eufaula High School.
