Ou- ualr

I think we lose 3 of the next 4.

I'm not sure we win a single game in the Big 12.

66-62 final for UALR. Just slept too late for this one and woke up after halftime. Proud of our run in the 2nd half, but gotta play a full 40 to win.

Need you on the men's board after a bad loss!

Obviously this team does not how to prepare for a game, and does not know how to play for 40 minutes. I think we will some how split with Tech, K State, and probably TCU. I will hope I am wrong, but 3 conference wins looks good to me. I know its early, but this team is nothing what I expected, and spending 38 days way from home games is absolutely ridiculous. Shame on the OU staff all the way up to the AD.

Sit Kaykay on the bench start vivi. Punish the team for turn overs. Sit them on the bench. We need consistent balanced scoring and rebounding.

This is a trap game written all over it between the finals and the Duke game. This team needs Peyton to shake her rust off sooner than later.

I agree. She is a good player and has a ton of potential. She just needs a boost of confidence. All the girls need a confidence boost.

This team will be better than last year's team. It is still finding how it can play together, and Sherri is still having to make some evaluations. I would suggest that Kaylon and Peyton need to start growing up, or we will see a lot more of Vivi and, probably, Maddie or Nicole.

UALR is a lot better than people realize. Beating LSU at LSU is not an easy task, and they did. Their only loss was to a pretty solid Tulane team. We almost came back, on the road. The one who really hurt us was Kay Kay by missing a wide-open layup on a good pass from Maddie, only to foul out getting the rebound. Instead of a tie game, it led to a four or six-point run by UALR that we couldn't overcome. Either Kay Kay must shape up or sit. She's had enough time. Vivi really outplayed her tonight and in the Paradise Jam.

Peyton isn't delivering and may need a wake-up call. Inserting Maddie should have led Sherri to understand that she can make it happen, if some people can hit layups.

Cool it, folks. We're probably headed for third, at worst fourth, in the Big Twelve. Don't forget that we actually did beat Kentucky (officiating fiasco on a bad call on a T), a team that could win the SEC. Illinois may be the class of the Big Ten. Washington is no slouch in the Pac Ten.

If we don't get better on defense and cut down on turnovers I don't think we will make the NCAA tourney.

Unforced turnovers have plagued OU for a few years. Coale needs to bench them for doing it. There is never a consequence so it keeps happening. Good coaching requires that you pay attention to details. If a team doesn't pay attention to details, it shows in unforced errors. Sherri knows a lot about basketball but she doesn't insist on simple execution of basic skills. Her teams are marked by silly fouls and infuriating turnovers. Why? Because there never seems to be a consequence.

This loss joins others that should never happen. If I coached the group, tomorrow's team meeting would start with " want to play, don't make stupid, silly fouls or turnovers."

You have summed it up very well!

Somehow if Payton and Maddie can get it going by conference this team might have a chance to finish in the top 5, but if they don't well--say hello to TCU..They'll be down there with them.

the only thing is who do you bench? When OU goes to the bench we see a droop off everywhere but the post. I think at the point Kornet should start she's our best player right now...
