Ou- ualr

This program has been sliding downward for about five years. Sherry just keeps recruiting herself over and over trying to catch lighting one more time. Is there ever repercussions for these stupid plays and turnovers?

Not that I can tell. Unreal!

Dawn entered this game shooting 32.4% from three. She is four of four.

Three charges on OU to start the half? Interesting. Kaylon out with four fouls, allows Vivi to make five quick points. Kaylon only had four.

That's pretty bad when we can't even drive on UALR. Says a lot about our athleticism.

We're now in the bonus with 12:20 to play down 9 … gotta make the FTs.

Sharane turnover. Kay Kay misses a layup and fouls on the rebound for her exit.

Nice job getting back in the game; Maddie added nice drive for a bucket to cut it to two.

If Kaylon and Peyton could hit layups, Maddie might have more assists.

We trail 52-54 with the ball. Maddie has been the energy the past few minutes. Vivi misses the layup to tie the game, after Kaylon had done the same. They hit to make it 52-56. 3:24.

55-56 Nicole for three.

Kays scores. 55-58. 2:24.

Offensive foul on Maddie, Sherri doesn't agree. 2:15

Clark for two 55-60

Offensive foul on Maddie? Again?

I think you mean Sherri...

66-62 final for UALR. Just slept too late for this one and woke up after halftime. Proud of our run in the 2nd half, but gotta play a full 40 to win.

Sometimes, you run into this. UALR only shoots 67% from the line. They were 12 of 13 for 92.3%. Gautt is only 67.7 from the line. She was six of six down the end of the game. They shot 58.1% from the field, usually only 39%.

We didn't play physically in the first half (fear of Paradise Jam officiating?).

Several key layups down the stretch, we missed. A couple of key offensive fouls at the end. Sherri wasn't happy with the first charge on Maddie. Defender in the circle. Kay Kay was AWOL (Sherri).

Sherri should be embarrassed after this loss. I doubt UALR has one girl who was ranked in the top 100 coming out of high school and they simply outplayed us. It's a good thing we out-rebounded them 31-16 or it really would have been ugly.

Might be best to get prepared. It is almost a certainty we don't make the tournament this year.

But any team with so few quality & experienced players that decides to play almost all non-conference games on the road is indicating they do not have the staff (starting with the AD) to continue to be successful.

When I saw that when the schedule was posted I realized that they had decided to sacrifice the season record. Every bit as stupid as Bob Stoops re-punting against OSU. This team needed some time to jell - and you don't do that on the road. We were also awful against North Texas.

How many turnovers today? 2 thousand?
