OU v OSU

Ask #9 Florida State how terrible oswho is. Ask ISU, who beat them by six the other night. Ask the undefeated Houston Cougars, who also beat them by 10.

In 43 Bedlam matchups this century, there have been just eight games that resulted in a win by either team of 15 points or more -- just five that saw a 20-point margin or more.

I hate oswho. I'm always very pleased to see us run them out of the gym, and I was hoping we might do so today. But counting on a rout in a Bedlam game -- expecting it -- is just asking for disappointment. It's a heated rivalry, so the games tend to be close. No impartial observers around the country will look at today's score and think, "Geez, the Sooners really struggled." We did what we had to do to defeat a hated rival, and we led virtually from start to finish. I call that a good day.

What I saw on the court today was a bad OSU team. I stand by my assessment.

Agreed. Doolittle came up big with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 1 block. He’s getting better with every game.

James imay be struggling from the perimeter, but he continues to find a way to be the team leader. Another double double with 14 points , 11 Rebs and 2 steals.

James has definitely turned into a leader

He’s often the first guy encouraging a down teammate

Replay of the game on TV starts at 7:30 central time. Tonight.

Fox Sports Oklahoma

I had intended to watch the replay at 7:30. But even knowing the outcome, I think the officiating will raise my blood pressure to dangerous levels.

We actually shot 18 FTs in the first half...just bad calls on both sides.

And Doolittle had a big smile when he dropped that 15 footer. That was sweet. I hope he stays pumped up like that because he can be a huge difference for us.

Agree...wish he would just relax...or explode (like Manek)...lol...get all that tied up emotion out...so it seems.

They best find their shot before the next game or it could get ugly.

How exactly would it get ugly? Tech is struggling as much offensively as we are. They've averaged 63.5 points their past four games.

Yeah I watched them the other night and they have some pretty dull offense themselves. great defense though.

I'm about to put up the OU/OSU game and OU/KU for those that want to see it in a little bit.

Not counting on it

Become a 75% FT shooter then start jacking up 3s

What? This may be the most idiotic post of the year. Christian James is not shooting 75% from the line this year either. I guess using your logic we should only shoot two’s! Lmfao!!!!!!!!!

James a career 74%, Manek 65%

That’s a big difference to me. I don’t think Manek is a good shooter. And James isn’t great either but he’s definitely our lead dog. So I don’t have an issue with his volume.

We simply don’t have a good 3-point shooting team. They win with defensive effort.

That’s crazy! Sounds like you have something personal against Manek. You must be a coach from an Oklahoma High School that he stuck it to. Lmao

You have something against him!? He was in HS, he was last year, he’s in a little slump. He’ll be fine.

You are comparing apples to oranges. What were James' career stats in the middle of his sophomore year?
