Pokes down 16 to Abilene Christian in the 2nd half.:D

Thought we had some lapses in the second on both ends of the court, but that was a damn good first half defensively. Rebounding can potentially be an issue this year. As far as some of the new individuals:
  • Darthard - a great defensive player and he can hit 3s.
  • Huguley - great footwork in the post....really like his offensive game.
  • McCollum - great scorer and lightning fast. Will be great at the 2 or very good at the 1.
  • Moore - another glue guy that can do a lot of good things. Most athletic guy on the team and we will need it. Hope his hammy doesn't turn into a nagging injury.
  • Soares - looks like another good shooter. He will get his chance to contribute.

Hughley needs to start. Love Godwin and Noethweather but Hughley can score down in the lost.

I thought tonight was good as one could except for the opening game, especially with as many new guys as we have. Oweh had a terrific game, which was nice to see, and many of the new guys showed out. I'll look forward to the first game against better competition, but we took care of business tonight.

Looks like the most talented roster Moser has had, not sure what the ceiling is but this group will be a lot more entertaining then the last 2 years led by Tanner.
