If OSU was attacking the basket a lot and had 44 FTs I would be saying that was a great performance. But OSU was just standing there all game and getting fouls called on tick tack fouls away from the ball. I bet if they were just called on attacking the basket they would have had something like 20 free throws instead of over 40. Maybe not even that many.

More like one way and you damn well know what side that was.
It just keeps getting better. Propoke, do yourself a favor and read OrangePower after an OSU loss. Better yet, just read OSUjeff on this board after an OSU win.

respectfully, you know that is not true.. SOO many FTs were from page getting bumped while dribbling.. theres nothing that you can obviously do about it. we are just fuming..

Exactly. Its not your fault, poke. It was just a terrible way to watch a basketball game get owned by the refs. Let the kids play.

I agree, you know the refs are bad when both coaches get T's because of bad calls. I am just saying they were bad both ways.

and i will agree osu got a few bad calls ie. (that stripped ball by page on blair) but it was disproportionate today.. good win though you guys needed that bad

We have won 4 in a row because OUr defensive intensity picked up. Today we were stripped of any chance to establish a defensive intensity by the zebras. Right after the T on Ford, the refs proceeded to whistle OU for ticky tack fouls on about the next 5-10 possessions. All of the momentum and continuity that we had established while building a 16 pt lead went away.
A more seasoned/veteran team may have been able to adjust to the terrible calls, and how the refs were calling, but OUr young guys were completely taken out of their rythm. Cam looked lost out there. He picked up 2 terrible fouls by breathing on Olukemi early in the game. From then on he was deer meets headlights, IMO.
A win is a win, and a loss is a loss. We could have overcame the zebras, but any poke who doesn't think that the lopsided 1st half derailed us is delusional. OUr momentum and how we started the game, we should have led by at least 10 at the half. Page shot free throw after free throw to get the pokes back in the game, and kill OUR aggression.
