*** OU vs OSU Game Thread***

This one is over. OSU is horrible though. They might be the worst team we played the last couple weeks. The refs were too much for us to beat.

81-75 final

If we don't beat Nebraska in a couple weeks we may not win a game till March.

He sure did jmizzy. Its just back to that young inconsistent play. You never know what you are going to get game after game.

Its too bad, besides the officiating fiasco if some of our key guys would have been "on" I think we could have made it 5 in a row.
 
This whole sh!tfest started after that bullsh!t make up after the tech. It's been plenty bad on both sides but that make up on Fitz in the first half was the sign that the refs were going to become VERY involved in the game.

I just don't think he ever got a chance to get in the flow of the game. The announcers kept harping on it, but he's a freshman. They need to run some plays for him early to get him involved.
 
Hard to swallow this loss considering we led by 15 early and Fitz was going to town. We stopped going with what was working. The officials sucked, but we gave this one away.
 
If Cam Clark shows up and Blair doesn't have his worst game since Cincinnati, we win that one going away. That's not totally unexpected for the first time those two guys have played in GIA


I love how every game we have a different player show up offensively. However, we will only be an average team until we consistently have games where 3 or 4 players are hitting. Once Clark, Pledger, and Cade are all hot at the same time, watch out

We are too undermanned to have to beat seven. Every time someone breathed on Opie he was going to the line.

I gotta agree with this. I am so mad with the officiating I can barely see straight right now, but we did have this game. That being said, a better officiating crew and we win outright, no questions asked and I have no doubt in my mind about that. Still, we have to be able to rise to the occasion regardless of the circumstances.

That being said, I'm not upset at our guys today. Overall we fought well and we didn't fold. Good game that before the season started most around the nation thought we didnt have a chance to be in. We'll just take it, learn from it, and move onward and upward.

If it were our next game, I would agree, however we have some tough ones coming up and with this young team, I hope our confidence doesn't get so bad we look like death warmed over when they come to LNC.
 
There's a chance we may not win a game till March. It's about to be a real tough stretch coming up.
 
I'm just going to forget this "game" ever happened. What's the point with all those fouls?
