OU @ WVU 7pm CST on ESPNEWS then ESPN2

I honestly feel bad for PM. He's just a midmajor coach. He seems like a nice guy and I'm sure he wants to win, but he's just not good enough for the Big 12. This was an experiment that didn't work out. Joe C needs to let Moser go back to the Missouri Valley and look elsewhere.

This was a very important game and you decide this far in the season to use experimental lineups? PM is just over his head with the teams and coaches that are in this conference.

And again, there was actually a lineup that was working. He just chose not to stick with it. I don’t even mind that he tried Bam early, but once we were 10-12 minutes into the game, it was clear that Oweh and Cortes were playing well, Jacob was garbage, and CJ wasn’t giving us anything.

Looking forward, I can’t see Jacob and CJ being guys you want on the roster. CJ has regressed from last season as a shooter and still isn’t in the shape he needs to be in. Jacob is a guy who can do things against mediocre competition, but can’t help in the Big 12 other than the one or two games he gets hot from three.

I like porter but he has lost this team it seems like and this is just awful. I hate missing the tourney

Agree and the “new coach” will have a major roster overhaul

Let’s say this season continues unraveling the way it appears it will. If we finish, say, 13-19 or 14-18 and get boat raced another three or four times, is there any hope that Joe C would pull the plug? I fear not, but it’s just so embarrassing at this point.

I can’t imagine him getting more than one more season to turn this around. We are quickly becoming an automatic win for teams. Remember … if Los didn’t make two huge free throws in Lubbock, and if WV hadn’t missed a thousand FTs, we would be winless in the league. We are much closer to that reality than most people realize.

He is going to get one more year, but the trajectory is going downhill fast. I've pretty much lost faith at this point. Even though we are losing (and badly at times),I wouldn't feel that way if I had seen at least marginal improvement in an area or two. We are cratering in all of the metrics.

I still believe PM is a good coach, but he simply doesn't understand the breadth of what it takes to win in this league. Just look at our roster construction. Outside of Tech, our roster compared to the remaining teams in this league is comical. Outside of Grant (and maybe Hill), we are trying to have mid-major guys and freshman help us win games. The warts are being magnified as the season goes along.

As bad as we’ve been at times, I never imagined it would get this bad. Losing by 26 points at half to one of the worst teams is a new low. I can’t imagine Moser ever coming back from this.

ND isn’t going to hire him. That’s a pipe dream. Moser should be fired immediately. This is unacceptable.

I think that partly has to do with bad coaching and partly to do with a lack of talent.

He's throwing at least 3 guys out there who wouldn't see the floor for any other Big 12 team.

Unbelievable... The talent level is just so bad. One day someone will listen to me and Kelvin Sampson.

So respectfully I ask how does he get 1 more year then? He constructed this roster so he should be held accountable. Like you said you have lost faith so I would assume a lot of people and hopefully important people have as well.

This has to go down as the worst OU team I can remember. I know they have the Bama win to hang their hat on but this is just ugly basketball defensively. Not that good on offense.

$10 says the team is replacing Sherfield and a few other contributors in addition to Tanner and the team sucks even worse next year. Not setup for success.

$$. The buyout likely gets him 1 more

I think you have to bring in someone who loves OU basketball and can recruit this region

I agree with some of this but I don’t like what I see in player improvement or in game coaching. I like PM but count me in as one who wants to end this experiment now.

There is no answer in the post next year rn. It isn’t a good feeling. If Collins comes in I think we will be better.

I don't see Moser keeping his job if they don't win an NCAA tournament game next year at least. And they need a lot of help to even get close.

We’ve followed up the Bama win with two complete embarrassing no-shows.

It’s not being negative to point out what a horrible sign that is.

Back to back completely non-competitive efforts.

Teams gets worse and worse; despite being healthy. The Bama game was clearly a one game anomaly.
