Could OU use a "death" lineup similar to the Warriors when Doolittle comes back?

Can you see Doolittle at the 5, Manek 4, Cam and Christian on the wings and Trey at point. All 5 guys can shoot the three. They could really spread people out on defense.

Defensive rebounding could be an issue, as Manek hasn't shown me much on the boards yet, but the offensive firepower here intrigues me.

I like it! I think I like Odomes at the 4 a little more. I think he does everything better over Manek except shoot. I would love if Odomes would just concentrate on being the best wing defender on the court and basically get 5+ rebounds and assists.

Should work great, especially with the closer college 3 point line. Getting 5 shooters on the court and bombing from outside seems like the best thing you can be doing in college basketball right now.

It's OK if we're hitting from the outside..... maybe not so much on those times when the shots don't fall. We could get killed on the boards. Bigger teams would post us up in the low blocks. Doolittle has the bulk but is only 6'7", whereas Manek is 6'9" but has no bulk. Our strength on one end is a weakness on the other end.

i think we stay fresh all year and esp in March/april. We are deep and I think that might help TY, Manek from wearing down, but also others as well. Doolittle missing the grind of non conf, which I wish he was here for... But We will be really good come March and the sweet 16!

Hafta agree with U2B. It is sweet as heck to imagine the offensive possibilities, but defense is every bit as important if not more so in the college game.

I prefer to envision the havoc we can play defensively with all that length and speed in a group thats also very effective offensively.
