I would say based on those numbers OU has a very good chance of doing better than Sweet 16. OU wasn't too far away from winning in Ames, in Lawrence, in Baylor and in the Big XII tournament. Obviously they didn't but the games were all competitive and a bounce here or there could have changed the outcome.
