Well let's see what happens now
I hate the big 12, it's a weak conference that will always be behind the PAC 12, B1G, and SEC. Adding a team such as BYU does nothing.
Boren statement:
We were not surprised by the Pac 12's decision to not expand at this time. Even though we had decided not to apply for membership this year, we have developed a positive relationship with the leadership of the conference and we have kept them informed of the progress we've been making to gain agreement from the Big 12 for changes which will make the conference more stable in the future. Stability has been our first goal and we look forward to achieving that goal through continued membership in the Big 12 Conference.

Yeesh. That's some serious spin. Not a good night for OU or David Boren.

Whatever teams the Big XII might or might not add, it won't be a strong, stable conference until the * network is history and there is equal revenue sharing. The rest of the conference needs to get some backbone and tell Texas that they can't be a member of the Big XII and have their network. They have to choose between their network and membership in the Big XII.
Beebe needs to go. I hear Mack Brown has an opening for an assistant. That's right up Beebe's alley.
Not saying I disagree, but without the marketability of UT in the conference the Big XII significantly loses its revenue potential.
Yep. There is no Big 12 without UT. Just like there would be no Big 12 without OU.
It's all about our friend Texas with the narcissistic personality disorder and his cocaine fueled power trips. On the upside we are now free to adopt a new mascot, William "Tecumseh" Sherman, and join the SEC.
