I just watched the US down Brazil in the first game of the Pan American games, at least the first for the US. It was close, 73-67 I think. It was all about UConn. If Jefferson or Stewart didn't score, the US really had no offense. They probably got about 55 points between them. Linae Harper played some good defense. We had a lot of people with brick hands. Reimer of ND did a couple of good things. Plum of Washington had just been cleared from an injury, and she was ineffective. Mostly, we didn't even begin to look for decent shots. We took bad jump shots or left it to UConn.
